At MellowSquish, the safety and quality of our squishies is incredibly important to us. We want parents and customers to feel confident knowing that our products are made with little hands in mind but NOT EDIBLE. Mellowsquish Squishies are Safe.

Our squishies are intended for children ages 3 years and older.

As with any children’s product, we recommend adult supervision during play, particularly for younger children.

MellowSquish squishies are NOT edible and are not intended for consumption.

Although our squishies may look cute, colourful, or resemble food and sweet treats, they are toys and must not be eaten, bitten, chewed, swallowed, or placed in the mouth.

Please make sure children understand that our squishies are for squishing and playing only — not eating!

Our applicable children’s products are supported by a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) based on testing product safety requirements.

For extra peace of mind, we have included our relevant CPC/testing documentation on this page for customers to view. We also have other ceritficates for others.

🌸 A Note About Material Scent

When you first open your MellowSquish, you may notice a slight raw material or manufacturing scent. This is normal for newly made squishies and will gradually fade over time.

If you notice a scent when your squishy first arrives, simply allow it to air out in a well-ventilated area. The scent should naturally become lighter with time. Please purchase with caution if your kid/yourself is sensitive to raw material smell.

Our squishies are designed to be soft, fun, and enjoyable while meeting the applicable safety requirements for their intended age group.

For the longest life and safest play:

  • Keep squishies away from babies and children under 3 years old.
  • Do not eat, bite, chew, swallow, or place squishies in the mouth.
  • Squishies are NOT edible, even if they resemble food.
  • A slight raw material scent when first opened can be normal and should fade over time.
  • Discontinue use if the product becomes significantly torn or damaged.
  • Keep away from excessive heat and open flames.
  • Adult supervision is recommended.
